GSE-meeting at Sandra’s home in Almelo (11-02-2005)

And again……..during this Saturday we planned to buy clothing which we think we would need during our trip in Australia. So we agreed to meet in Wilp to go shopping in a big clothing store. Because Sjoerd was a little bit late, we first took a cappuccino and a piece of apple-pie.
Then we started the search: three pair of trousers and two skirts. The girls and boys splitted up. And when you expected the boys to finish the job quickly…… you were wrong. The ladies tried on approximately eight skirts and let the boys decide which skirt. Job done! The men took their time and tried on twenty or thirty pair of trousers and couldn’t find any trousers that fitted all three. And finally two and a halve hours later the men also found a pair of trousers which satisfied all.

We took of to Sandra & Mark’s house in Almelo. Shopping makes hungry so we first ate some bread with a ‘kroket’ and a ‘frikadel’.
With our filled stomach Bob started up the laptop and showed us the almost finished presentation. For the last time we went through all the pictures and discussed the things we wanted to tell during our presentation. We have a lot to tell about our beautiful Holland.

After finishing the presentation we had diner and at half past nine we said goodbye and to meet again on Thursday February the16th to give our presentation at the Rotary club of Hans Jaap in Haaksbergen.
